Made from 1.2mm mild steel or stainless steel SFFECO Hydrant cabinets and accessories are self-standing and are available in brushed, stained or mirror finish to blend into the aesthetics of the surroundings.

To ensure durability and resistance to external conditions hydrant cabinets and accessories are coated with corrosion protection and painted with electrostatic powder paint and oven baked to defend against rust and be water resistant.

All models are available with standard accessories and optional accessories as below

The hydrant is UL Listed and FM Approved. All Wet Barrel Hydrants are tested to ensure quality, efficiency and optimum performance. SFFECO UL-FM Approved Wet Barrel Hydrant is also available with a 4-inch size Monitor Flange on top of the hydrant. To ensure that SFFECO Wet Barrel Fire Hydrant lasts long and is corrosion free it is e-coated to a dry film thickness of 0.6 mils minimum, then fusion bonded epoxy powder coated. Hydrants are tested at 250 PSI for FM Approval and at 200 PSI for UL and FM Approval. Each hydrant is tested for quality and performance before delivery.

Our Hydrant confirms to BS EN 14384: 2005, BS 1074-1, BS 1074-2 & BS 1074-6 Standards. The hydrant has a Break away design to prevent accidents to the hydrant, where only the upper part of the flange would be broken upon impact, when broken it is still able to maintain the seal and there is no leakage of water. Automatic drain system drains the water in the upper part when the main valve is closed, thus avoiding damage caused by freezing.

It meets all applicable parts of ANSI/AWWA C502 standards and is UL EX16453 listed and FM Approved. SFFECO Dry barrel hydrant is built at our state of the art factory and is tested under 1000 PSI pressure as per UL246 and under 500 PSI pressure as per FM1510.

The Dry Barrel Hydrant is secured by stainless steel safety stem coupling which prevents damage to the main valve and the stem incase hit by a vehicle. Hydraulic design makes SFFECO Dry Barrel Hydrants efficient and effective with optimum performance and maximum flow.
